1. Toddler Tunes – Ages 18 months to 3 years - $30.00 for the first month.
Saturdays: 9:30 to 10:00 am ongoing weekly
A joyful first music class shared by parent and child. Singing, finger play, movement, keyboard playing and rhythms encourage active involvement and develop the child’s “inner music”.
2. More Music in Me - Ages 3 to 5 - $40.00 for the first month.
Thursdays: 12:30 to 1:15 pm starting February 7th
Music in Me is a dynamic readiness program for young children with emphasis on ear training, solfege singing, movement, keyboard activities, pitch and rhythm awareness. Creativity is stressed. Parent involvement in class and at home.
3. Harmony Road - Ages 4 1/2 to 6 - $50.00 for the first month.
Tuesdays: at 3:30 to 4:30 pm starting February 5th
The Harmony Road course is carefully constructed for children to learn the basic building blocks of music. Emphasis is on ear training, solfege singing, keyboard playing, ensemble and rhythm activities, movement and music creativity. This exceptional course gives the student “inner hearing”, which makes transposing, improvisation and composing easily accessible in their musical studies. Parent involvement in class and at home.
4. Young Musician - Ages 6 to 8 - $50.00 for the first month.
Mondays: at 3:30 to 4:30 pm starting February 4th
Students learn beginning music concepts through singing, ear training, note reading, keyboard solo and ensemble playing, rhythm ensemble and creative activities. This course provides a strong basis for further musical study. Parents share in class time.
5. Keyboard Prep – Ages 8 to 12 - $50.00 for the first month.
Mondays: at 4:30 to 5:30 pm starting February 4th
The Keyboard Prep course is designed for children ages 8 through 12 who are studying music for the first time. This motivating program develops the student’s basic musicianship skills through ear training, solfege singing, keyboard performance and writing music. Parent involvement in class and at home.
6. Piano Street for Teens and Adults - $50.00 for the first month.
Mondays at 5:30 to 6:30 pm starting February 4th
This program is a unique and comprehensive piano course for older beginners and adults. It is designed to provide an enjoyable and functional approach in a recreational, supportive group setting. Students learn to read music, play by ear, write music, understand and use chords accompaniment styles and progressions, play solos and ensembles, and arrange their own music.
